Australian Golf Digest rates the Busselton Golf Club’s "Fairlawn" course one of the "Top 5" Western Australian courses outside the Perth metropolitan area.
Designed by Murray Dawson the course is fully reticulated, well bunkered and built on generally flat terrain with some gentle slopes. Its broad fairways wind through beautiful woodland featuring magnificent redgums and peppermint trees, which host a wide variety of native birds. The rough is well tended and its rare to lose a ball.
International professional Stephen Leaney learnt his craft at Busselton. He loves the true greens and considers the long par fours to be a great test of golf.
