The Cut Golf Course
18 Holes
PAR 72
6077 M

Designed by James Wilcher, The Cut at Port Bouvard is destined to become one of Australia’s premier coastal golf courses.

The course is playable year round and enjoyed by golfers of all playing levels, the fairways have generous landing areas from the tee.

Each hole has at least four tee choices, many of which provide golfers with the distraction of stunning views over the course and Indian Ocean.

The outward nine holes meander past the resort hotel site, then through swales of dunes, bounded by ocean on the four opening holes, opening into the residential estate with fairway frontage homesites through to hole nine.

The Cut at Port Bouvard is certain to provide you with a golfing experience similar to what you would expect of the world’s premier links courses such as Bally Bunion, Whistling Straights and Pebble Beach.

9 epic holes on the coast are among the best in Aus IMO but pretty demanding for higher markers. The 9 inland holes aren't as good but this is still one of the best public tracks I've played in Aus.

For me this course is the Dogs Bollocks.

Fantastic links type course with great views, and interesting holes.

The front 9 and back 9 are like chalk and cheese but both great to play, the back 9 being my favorite.

Course was in excellent condition. Very tough. 30k/hr winds made playing very difficult.

A brilliant experience not offered by other WA golf courses - Binningup excepted. It has similarities to Barnbougle Dunes in Tasmania in that most holes do not have adjoining or parallel fairways and you become totally involved in the designed strategy required to play the hole with success. To enjoy the experience take the right attitude and be realistic. The rough is penal - you will lose balls. Unless you are off single figures hit off the white markers, and don't pull out driver on all the tees! Very often a 4 or 5 iron off the tee is required. Take your time and enjoy the magnificent scenery and a wonderful clubhouse with very amicable staff.

Great Course played it when it first opened and SHE was tough, With an invitation to play in the members competition last weekend it was still tough for me with the camera out more often that I was playing golf with the scenery. The course has been made for more of the weekend player instead of the low handicapper, anyone can play here and enjoy themselves. The only negative feedback i have is, its now a CART ONLY golf course, and for one who likes to walk the course there was no option to do so. Well worth the visit and a special of $99 for 2 people including lunch and drink is well worth the hour drive from Perth or South West.
