Katanning is one of the oldest golf courses in Western Australia
as it celebrates it's 100 anniversary next year. The course
is currently in very good shape. With good winter rain all
fairways are in good condition and the greens are very
consistant. The winter season is nearly finished with the summer
9 hole compition to start in a few weeks.
All greens are sand with oil. The course has a good variety of
holes with large amounts of bush to hold up the miss hit.
Katanning is one of the best sand green courses in the south west
and is a challenge to any golfer of any standard. Green fees are
$5 for nine holes and $9 for 18 holes. Visitors are welcome.
Ladies play each Wednesday, mens scroungers on Thursday afternoon
and a mixed comp on Saturday.
