Just caught up with the old Pro Danny Hunt again, 70 next month, may have to change his name from Red Dog to Grey Dog. Fantastic to play on Green Head again way better than Danny's desert in Karratha. Won't be long before the old fella will be needing an electric buggy to get up Givershit Hill. Lets hope he gets a buggy with a good hand brake..!!! New bloke in the region, just back from Python Pool, Johnny Bulbous Nose was also recently singing Green Heads praises. Tony Lasaganya from the Daybora Club in Qld is hoping to make his way over to play the course in early 2013. Rosco the Ape from Geraldton is also quite excited about making his way to Green Head next year.

Just got back from another golfing weekend at Greenhead and I was lucky enough to get a few tips from local Golf Pro Danny (Red Dog) Hunt that I am pleased to pass onto you. Hole 1 - Watch out for the dog leg, it will catch you out every time Hole 5 - Be carefull not to run into the trees while watching the wipper snippers Hole 9 - Don't worry too much about this hole, the bar is near Hole 11 - If you hit it off the fairway, don't even bother looking Hole 15 - This will test your short game (be carefull of route-rock buried in the sand) Hole 18 - Hit it long and straight as this is the quickest way to the bar

Great little course and very friendly members.

Make sure you stay on the fairway though, once you’re off they are pretty hard to find.

As local Golf Pro Danny (Red Dog) Hunt says, “you better bring plenty of balls”
