I played this course without knowing what to expect. It is a very short 9 hole course in bad condition. Bunkers are the worst I've seen & greens are mostly very average and patchy. I wouldn't recommend this one to anyone. For the same price, there are many better public courses around, that are far more enjoyable.

Hadn't played here since moving from the area 8 years ago so we decided a quick 9 holes before heading over the road for lunch would be a good idea. This is the worst conditioned golf course I have played in my 35 years of golf. The bunkers are totally unplayable, some are that overgrown they are unsighted, all others are a combination of weeds and hard packed dirt/mud. Totally impossible for anyone to get out of these hazards. I'm not sure when they last had sand in them or had a minute of maintenance. Most of the tees were atrocious and impossible to get a tee into the ground. The $18 for 9 holes and $5 for a hire buggy is akin to theft. The course was formerly a good beginners course but the condition encountered today would turn you off the game forever. If you really really need to play golf and can't get on anywhere else go to a driving range. The company managing / maintaining this course should be moved on and replaced.

Zero Stars. Way overpriced for a paddock. Staff cranky and skiddish. Greens like a average fairway. Fairways like concrete. Tee boxes are an absolute joke, bring a hammer to get your tee setup! People everywhere with no etiquette. I live 5 mins away, but will never go back. Joke of an establishment. Go to Brighton Public, Malvern Valley Public, Yarra Bend or Albert Park for inner city public courses which are rock solid and know how to run a business.

Played today as the course is just down the road and was looking to play 9 holes on my own. All in all the course is a disappointment. I am a very average player but even for me the conditioning was horrible; fairways, greens, bunkers, the lot. The bunkers were completely unplayable and I can relate to the previous reviews experience with fauna - I have counted 5 dead birds on/nearby fairways. Service was pretty average. The course would only be suitable for absolute beginners, but even then the $18 green fee they charge for 9 holes would put most people off. Will not be going back. I would rather head further afield to Burnley which is probably closer to how a course of this level should be. They could do a lot more with what they have.

Measures 2123m Par 31 with five par 3s ranging from 116-217m and four par 4s ranging from 260-327m. Short parkland course with shortish tree-lined fairways. Fairways are good, greens are slow with bumpy dirt-ridden teebeds. There are 14 bunkers on the course with 3 bunkerless holes. However, poor bunkering conditioning with no rakes, not much sand lessen the experience and challenge. The best attributes here are the par 3s. All but the 116m 2nd are over 170m in length. The opening 327m slight dogleg left 1st with 2 bunkers short guarding the green and the 324m 9th with bunker 40m short right and 2 bunkers guarding the green are somewhat challenging. Played here 12/11/2010 with green fees $15.50 for 9 holes. Perhaps not for the serious but the beginner or less frequent golfers may find this track challenging.
