COURSE DETAILS
Albert Park is a Par 72, fully public championship golf course located in the heart of Melbourne and is the home of the Victorian PGA Championships, played every October.
The course runs alongside the racetrack for the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix, and is a most picturesque location. There isn’t a better public access golf course in Melbourne.
Albert Park’s impressive landscape is dominated by mature exotic trees, and boasts some of the finest Elms in the state of Victoria. Recent extensions to the course have resulted in the planting of some 1600 additional trees of varying species.
Local residents began playing golf and developing the initial course in 1899, and 1999 marked the centenary of what is now the Albert Park Golf Course. The course is closed during the Australian Grand Prix but open at all other times, and Bookings are essential.
