Played here for the first time today. It is a great layout, with plenty of doglegs, undulations, water hazards & nice landscape views (no bunkers). The only problem is that it looks like it is recovering from a long dry Summer. There has been plenty of recent rain & everything looks green from a distance but the Winter grass is quite sparse & good fairway shots aren't usually rewarded with good lies! If this course had some good couch it would be an absolute gem! I still enjoyed my round as the positives outweighed the negatives.

Could be a good course, layout is good but it like playing on a paddock. Grass is hard to find, any grass! Greens were patchy and didnt play true.

It looks like this course needs water badly. Most of the dams were empty.

If you want a drink or feed after your round, forget it, nothing open.

There are better courses around the area. The way it is, its really not worth the drive or effort to get there.

I play this course weekly although I havent been playing long I love this course. It does get a bit soft on the greens after rain but still a fun course. Dan the new pro is great guy and will help you out with anything you need. Not a massive amount of traffic and the clubhouse is great too.

Wow, very very surprised. Great condition, challenging course with well maintained fairways and greens. Best $20 I have spent in a long time and best public course that I have played on in a while compared to a growling frog at double the price. Would recommend this course to anybody who wants a smooth, quick and enjoyable game of golf. Great recovery from the fires as well, cheers guys

With regard to happytoshoot90's comment, things have changed since May. I played a couple of weeks ago for the first time and what a pleasure it was. Not only isia well desiged course, but its been awhile sinc I actully playedon green fairways. Sure there some patches that were a bit rough,(5%), but they were the exception. Generally they were lush green. If I had a complaint, it would have been that the fairways were a bit long, but only just. I would go back again and again.

Played this course today, an old favourite of mine, and sadly I won't be back anytime soon. Drought has killed this course, you can drive the middle of the fairway and still be hitting of a rock hard surface with no grass beneath your ball. The large lake on the 3rd is bone dry - I walked into the middle of it to play my 2nd shot! Greens were atrocious, nothing good to say at all. Amazing to see how close the bushfires on Black Saturday came though.
