Without Prejudice Played here at the request of a member last week, last played here about 18 months ago with the same person, but this time conditions of the course seem to be worse than last time. Many of the holes on the back 9 and some on the front 9 have very little grass, are cut too low for this time of the year with bare lies and mud with what appears to be crushed rubber attempting to hold it together, did they put the wrong grass in during renovations as it does not seem to have taken . There seems to be no concerns by members to repair divots or rake bunkers, as many landing areas are potted with unfilled divots and many bunkers have footmarks up the faces of them, which could have only been made by members due to the afternoon time I played. Things have definitely deteriorated since acquisition by the RACV, as most money seems to have been put into the 5 level monolith.

Played here in 2013 over Christmas. I agree with Nickng. Pity there's no range here but there's definitely a good quality short game practice area here with two greens and bunkers and plenty of space for pitching depending on how crowded it is. Maybe a bit difficult to find. Go back towards Great Ocean Road from the 1st tee and you'll find it. Practice nets also available near the 1st tee.

Played here for the first time and I believe all the renovations to the holes are now complete. I thought the Front 9 was more interesting to the Back 9. Par 3's were fairly short with the exception of a 180m one. Most of the fairways on the back 9 play with a slant/slop in it, and I found that annoying after a while. Very playable course, and as much as I hate bunkers, would preferred to see more used. Surprised of the 133 slope rating as I think that's generous. Greens are small but easy to attack due to little protection around them and weren't the quickest. Overall, the course was in great nick compared to Curlewis with great facilities. Shame no driving/chipping range to practice on.

Played here on a golf trip with 11 mates. Found the course to be in good condition and very playable. Still some work being done on the course but groundsman told me it was almost complete. All in all a very enjoyable round of golf

I played here after being OS for the past 18 months, it has not changed my opinion since the last post I made, lost 8 ball which seemed to only trickle into the rough, which is knee high. The fairways have no first cut, straight from fairway to rough which is a heavy penalty for most 'club level players'. The newer greens have steps in most of them, several have no protection as they are sloped the way of the prevailing wind and on several occasions I found that shot that initially stopped close to the hole were blown off the green to worse positions. I was going to renew my membership but 13th Beach beckons.

Was down Torquay way over the weekend so had a bit of stickybeak at the course and the new facilities. The course is nearing completion but still probably another 3-4 months away from being a fully operational and then probably wont hit its straps until Spring/Summer 2014. It's definitely got the Ogilvy Clayton feel to it, but definitely no where near as 'tricked up' as Healesville. It's probably more in-line with the changes made at Victoria & Peninsula than The Lakes & Healesville, which I think is a good thing. Looking forward to playing the finished product but I'd give it at least 6 months before heading out there.
