Played here on Saturday for the second time. A great laid back club that matches nicely with the feel of the town. The place doesn't open until 9am and I would have been the only one on the course until around 10 in the morning, quite a shock (pleasant) coming from Melbourne. The course is well maintained and speed of greens was consistant. I found the doglegs on approach to a majority of the greens a nice feature of the course and would happily play here again.

Great course and a super layout. Greens a bit slow though.

Measures 5580m Par 70 with six par 3s ranging 117-190m, eight par 4s ranging from 304-395m and four par 5s ranging from 442-485m. Some grass greens are slower than others but they run smoothly. Fairways are a little bare in patches, and some fairways are what I would consider lush. Some good bunkering, with a reasonable cover of sand. Teeboxes were a little bare and bumpy in patches. Most holes have gentle doglegs which are tree-lined on both sides. Undergrowth below treelines are a mixture of bare dirty lies and grassy/weeds. An easy 149m 1st hole with a bunkerless green to begin your round. My front nine picks are the stretch of holes along Latje Road. The 395m 5th and 360m 6th have gentle doglegs to the left with bunkers guarding the green left and right. I got a little greedy on the 6th and ended up hitting one left of the trees in the roadside gully! I couldn't find any stakes and fences, so I had to play it as it lied...Another good hole is the 162m 7th which is guarded by a bunker short and greenside right. The back nine's two par 3s are quite a challenge with its length as the 442m 10th and 450m 15th are the weakest par 5s on the course. The course is fairly open with some wide fairways and it is very difficult to lose a ball here. Located 85km southeast from Mildura along the A20-Sturt Highway and 130km northwest from Swan Hill along the B400-Murray Valley Highway. Played here 30/07/2010 and paid $20 green fees at the bar - there is no pro shop. Overall a good course for the beginner and even the frequent golfer could be challenged to hold some of the smallish greens here. Worth a hit if in the area.
