Goulburn and Murray
Numurkah Golf Club
18 Holes
PAR 72

This 18 hole course is situated on 120 acres winding along the beautiful Broken Creek. A challenging course with small greens (no bunkers), lots of trees and 3 of the hardest finishing holes in the Goulburn Valley. The mild climate all year round makes for healthy greens and fairways. During Summer, the rough dries out somewhat and provides a great deal more run, this being a standard feature of North Victorian golf.

Played this course today. Very lush, well watered fairways. Greens are fairly small, but well maintained. There is an interesting mix of holes, with several dog legs & good variety to keep it interesting. Very flat, which is normal for river courses & no bunkers. Overall, a very nice experience and a pleasant walk with plenty of BirdLife. Better than I was expecting!

Was half way through the 4th hole and was aske to leave for no good reason. We were not holding anyone up. We were actually waiting on people. We were responsible with all rented equipment including the buggy. We didn't drive on any greens and we weren't drinking or smoking. When we questioned why we were told to leave we were threatened with the confiscation of our buggy and we would have to walk back. So we waited back at the pro shop to talk to them but after an hour they said they would be another hour to come back. Would not recommend this place to anyone. A shit hole with bully pros. DONT GO THERE!!

Good news. The bunks have gone and the accommodation is new 2 bedroom cabins. The course has similar grass on fairways and greens as Rich River. But this course is only half as wide and therefore tougher. The tiny greens can be hard to chip onto if you land short at all. So, be brave and chip right up to the hole with spin. The holes on the front nine are mostly straight. On the back they are nearly all doglegs and there are some rippers. Go over the corner with driver if you dare. Or leave a longer shot to a tiny target. Handy hint - don't go over the greens. Mostly they are very tough from there. The ball rolls very true on the greens and the speed is consistent over the whole course. Can't ask for more. Enjoy the friendly courteous staff and a good course and great meals.

Numurkah course in very good condition,BUT, those useless cabins are still there!!!!!Time to upgrade to something bigger & better without the bunks. Our social group will not come back to stay until someting is done about the accomodation. Shame because we enjoy the hospitality of the people & club & enjoy the course

The fairways are flat. In summer dry, lots of roll on ball.the greens are fairly predictable, no real surprises. couple of interesting holes where placement rather than distance is the requirement. Staff are friendly, beer is cold, good meals in the bistro. However, the accomadation is ordinary.fine if you have the double bed,but BUNKS!!!!!???? for pissed geriatrics?even the young ones in our group weren’t happy. those rooms are small. We will still go back to play, but not to stay.If the bungalows had bigger bedrooms with single beds, then this would be the ideal place. Not far from melb. easy drive.Bring back the deal with the motel!!!!!
