Only five minutes from the city centre, Sunraysia’s premier golf club resort is an ideal setting when in north-western Victoria. Peacefully nestled among the 18-hole championship golf course, the Mildura Golf Club Resort comprises 40 motel units including the refurbished Fairway Rooms and Deluxe Rooms.

The resort also features a shaded pool area with spa and barbecue facilities, for the private use of in-house guests. The newly renovated clubhouse contains a spacious bar and bistro, catering for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. The clubhouse also includes a comfortable Tabaret entertainment lounge.

At Mildura Resort, the travelling golfer will find a course which is well-maintained all-year round. It features a strong set of finishing holes culminating in the 205-metre par-three 18th. The raised green is protected by both bunkers and mounding and it‚s a definite swing hole with a score or a few dollars riding. The pro shop is open seven days with motorised cart and buggy hire available.

Very enjoyable course which was typically very green being well watered on the Murray, despite playing on a 37 degree day. Well maintained & good greens & consistent bunkers. Good layout, but no run on fairways due to lush couch, so hitting greens is essential for a good score. I rate this at number 86 out of 239 courses played.

Played 9 earlier in the week and 18 yesterday. The course is well presented, (though 16 of the greens had just been recorded and sanded so were a test). Not overly putative even if one strays a bit. Nice bunkering. Highlights to me were the very picturesque 11, 12, 13 and the greens on the new 15 and 16, which were quite different in character from the remainder which were fairly standard in contour. The new greens were very tortuous, a bit like some at Barnbougle. An enjoyable outing. (Swooping magpie on 5&6 was off putting!)

Not too bad at all. Measures Par 72 6021m (off the board distances - Par 72 6072m off the scorecard) with three par 3s ranging from 140-205m, twelve Par 4s ranging from 275-402m and three par 5s ranging from 453-519m. Course is in good condition with kikuyu grass separating the tree-lined layout and its greens are second best to Coomealla's in terms of speed and condition. All greens are guarded by at least 2 bunkers, except the 346m 10th par 4 dogleg left which is the only bunkerless green on the course. The sand is lumpy and when wet forms clumps of muddy sand. The course layout is quite boring. Opens with a 302m dogleg right, then another dogleg right 402m par 4 2nd with OOB along the right side of the treeline. Most holes have slight doglegs and the course borders the rubbish tip which isn't as pretty as the Murray River views which Coomealla or Riverside boast. Highlights include 365m par 4 9th with water along the dogleg right corner from the tee to about 80m from the green. The back nine is slightly more challenging than the front. The finishing four holes are my favourites here. Played here Tuesday 3 August and only paid $18 for a social round. Mildura GC is a regular course played during the Mildura Golf Week held each year in late July/early August. Not as good as the nearby Coomealla GC, but its greens are slightly quicker than Riverside GC. Of all of the 6 golf courses within the Mildura region I played over the week, this would rank equal 2nd with Riverside, slightly ahead of Wentworth and behind Coomealla, and much better than Red Cliffs or Merbein. Recommend a visit if in the area.

Played here in September 2009 - Stayed on course in basic yet adequate accommodation. Basic yet adequate is probably the best description of the course. Not as polished as their eastern Murray courses like Yarrawonga, Corowa, Cobram, Toc etc. however, I really enjoyed playing the course. The course isn't long and many of the par 4's are reachable or very nearly in 1, however, the course was well presented, the weather was good and there is plenty of bird life around to keep things interesting. The club pro, all the staff and the members were all very friendly and accommodating and reminded me of a great country club.

Teed off at 730am. no one else on the course. Beautiful fairways, and a good layout. Short par fours all had doglegs and the rest were long, as the grass really holds up the ball. Most of the greens are slightly elevated with some very well placed bunkers. Not a lot of water to worry about, save a few holes. Very easy to find your ball if it goes a bit wayward. Really enjoyed playing this course and will definitely go back.

Not an overly long course but due to the thick lush fairways the ball doesn't run as much as other courses in the district. Some holes make you think rather that just get up there and bomb the driver too. Greens are good too. The members however do need some ettiquette lessons. I went round in a cart by myself and was stuck behind two 'older members' for the last 6 holes. Was not really impressed with this at all.
