Really enjoyed this course and would love to play it again. Apart from the good condition the holes take advantage of all the undulations giving the golfer plenty to look at and plenty to think about. It is not overdesigned with good shots rewarded and bad shots penalised without torturing the golfer. My favourite parts of the course were the approach shot into the 1st, the par 3 8th, the tee shot on the 9th, the tee shot on the 11th with the right hand side of the fairway disappearing into the sky and the 3 tiered green on the 17th.

Played here in the Social Golf Vic event in March 2014. To be honest, I was very disappointed in the state of the course. The fairways were patchy and inconsistent bounce and some of the lies you would get made it trickier. Greens had just been cored 1.5 weeks and were still feeling the effects, very slow and inconsistent roll.Bunkers had hardly sand in them, so made it difficult for bunker play. By the way, I had a great day on the scorecard with 38pts, so I'm not just potting this due to a bad day. The course itself has a good layout with each hole varying in length and direction.

Played here 2nd March, hit off earlier than reserved tee time which was appreciated. Lady in pro shop was very welcoming, pro shop well stocked with everything. Course was in excellent condition with quite a variety of challenging holes, nice views of Port Phillip Bay. Out of Bounds very close on 3rd & 17th holes, not much room for error off the tee. Overall a very enjoyable experience on a well presented golf course that if you havnt played yet make the effort to do so.

Played here on the September 8th and the course was once again in excellent condition! The proshop staff were welcoming. Curlewis has a well a stocked proshop with plenty of food and drinks available! The course was fully booked for the day but play was fairly smooth even with a couple of large social groups. Curlewis is well worth the drive, being just 15mins out of Geelong and playing there will not dissapoint the golfer that enjoys a high standard of playing conditions!

Played for the first time the other day and found it fantastic. Great layout, challenges for all, espcially with the thick rough. Links set-up was awesome and course was in great condition. Will definitely drive down from Melbourne for this again!

Played at Curlewis GC for the first time over the 2013 Anzac Day long weekend with a member from the National GC and both of us were VERY impressed! The day we played was Ladies pennant so the pins were tucked into some tight locations however you were rewarded for the risk reward play. The course was in fantastic shape with manicured fairways, slick undulating greens and clever bunkering throughout. I think Mike Clayton has gone over it just recently adding some of his improvements. The Par 3 holes are a test themselves especially wind the wind is up! There are numerous dog leg fairways both left and right so accuracy off the tee is a must or you we be penalised severly. The club now has its own irrigation supply so water will not an issue over the summer. The BEST kept sandbelt secret outside Melbourne!, with welcoming Pro shop staff and club members wanting for us to enjoy our round and the bar afterwards! We did so thoughly!
