Our social club played here on the weekend and the course was well looked after and in a nice setting. The staff and volunteers were all very friendly and the burger that was included after the 14th was excellent. It is awesome when a club like this is very welcoming and will do anything to get you to come back!

Played Cooroy for the 1st time in April, what a great little course. Pretty tight and the greens were interesting and rolled very well. Can certainly recommend a round here and the staff are very hospitable. Will definately be back when next up the Coast.

Played Cooroy for the first time just after the cyclone, course was in good shape considering some courses were closed on the Sunshine coast. It is short in length but really requires accuracy as any shot offline penilises you. Some great holes, real dog legs, blind shots made for a great day. Fairways were a little rough as before the cycone there was no rain & one of the locals said they had to sacrifice the fairways & look after the greens which were really very good. I think in a few weeks it will be in great shape. Very friendly club & I will come back again.

Had a round here while holidaying in Noosaville in September. A hidden gem - I much preferred it to Tewantin. I took part in the Saturday comp and couldn't have found a nicer, more companionable group to accompany me. The course is actually very challenging which was a bit of a surprise from a country course. You really have to think about the shots that you play because each hole is different and has its own unique challenges. One of the holes (the 5th I think) is very very close to the railway line and a cattle train went past just as I was teeing off - wow! The friendliness at the clubhouse was also among the best I have experienced - including the beer and tucker. A good course, with lots of interesting holes and very well presented. Interestingly, Cooroy also has a nice Botanical Gardens so you can drop the better half off for a visit while having a round. I'll make this my main course when I visit each Spring.

Although short in length, Cooroy's par 70 layout presents plenty of testing holes that will challenge golfers of all standards. Most of the front nine is fairly tight and tee shots need to be accurate with tall gums lining the fairways. The back opens up a little but the water hazards on 11, 13 and 14 are right in play and turn a par opportunity into a double quite easily. Most of the par 3's on this course have either elevated tees or greens and careful club selection is needed especially when the wind is up. A friendly club, challenging layout and a relaxing atmosphere under the gums makes for an enjoyable round of golf. Well worth a crack.

Played Cooroy this week for the first time. Looks a great course, but with 'tee up through green'I'd suggest players hold off until they get some serious rain in the area. Can't wait to play it again once they've had a week or two of h2o.
