Fantastic course in very good condition. I think a lot of metropolitan golf clubs and new resort courses could learn from some of these very good country courses. Not at all easy when you have 15 metres of fairway to hit on a 400m par 4. But you don't spend all day looking for your ball or raking bunkers. I also love a walking course. Making carts compulsory removes one of the great benefits of a game of golf. It is not a hilly course but the fairways have lots of undulations making placement off the tee important. The green complexes have a lot of variety and reward the player who picks the right line of play. I can highly recommend this course for every golfer.

Love this course. It can get busy but pick your time and the course is yours - usually after 2pm. We stay at Woorim Caravan Park and play every week while we're there. This is a well maintained course, the greens are quick and the fairways excellent. Being on a sand island it dries out well after rain. Always found the pros helpful, clubhouse good as well. My favourite course in this part of the coast.

Played Bribie on 10th Dec 2013 and totally enjoyed it! A few years ago they had a lot of trouble with water on the course, but after some considerable amount of work this looks to be remedied. There also has been a lot of upgrading of the general surrounds, which I commented to the pro, who informed me that the majority of beautification work has been done by the members themselves! The fairways were carpet like and the greens are some of the best I've played in recent months, true and fairly quick. Some of the holes have also had changes to the bunkering with a positive effect both visually and playing wise. My mates and I enjoyed the round (plus it took their money) and planning to play there again over the Xmas break.

The overall presentation of Bribie's par 72 course is just about resort standard. Fairways are carpet like and greens are shapely and consistent to putt on. There are a couple of water hazards on the back nine and plenty of well designed bunkers that guard the putting surface. The layout itself is fairly standard with much the same sort of view from each tee. There are a few doglegs thrown into the mix and a few lengthy par 4's make for a good test. Accuracy is a must on this course with sandy, tree lined rough punishing anything sprayed off the tee. Recovering from these spots isn't easy making scoring difficult. Keep them straight and you'll enjoy the bush surrounds and a relaxing round of golf. My only concerns are the $40 walking green fee and the lack of 100m markers on the fairways. Worth a hit if you're visiting the area.
