Jandowae's par 72 bush course is located just off the Wondai Road about 8km north of town. There are no bunkers on the course and only one water hazard which sits behind the 8th/17th green. OOB looms on the right side of the 1st/10th and the last two holes also. Dry fairways give you great value for shots off the tee but if you miss the green by much, your ball can scoot on well past the putting surface. Highlights include the 196m par 3 4th (index 2) with a small shapely green, the par 5 6th/15th with a demanding tee shot and thick pine brush catching anything sprayed left and the long 381m par 4 17th (index 1) with OOB right and a daunting tee shot from the further most point from the club house. Facilities here are fairly average but Jandowae isn’t a bad option if you’re after an easy round set in peaceful bush surrounds on the Western Darling Downs. $15 for 18 holes.
It is a ways out of town but very accessible.

rain has caused the course to become very dry and very
Keep an eye on your ball.
