Had played here a few days ago.Wedgeman has given most of the information regarding this course as it is correct. I enjoyed playing there, the grass greens were great for putting, and the greens edges up to 10 m deep were cut well to play good shots. The fairways were a bit dry with some stuff grass, but you need to tee up through to greens otherwise you could break your clubs. The tees and grass greens were well watered and maintained.I had to make a quick sketch of course from wall map to play the grass greens.15 dollars OK and fair. holes to play fromon wall inside clubhouse as scorecard inside the honesty box.

Charleville's lengthy par 72 course has been reduced to 9 holes consisting of all grass greens. The sand green nine sadly has been left overgrown and deserted. All fairways are dry and rough but you'd expect that out here in winter. Although most fairways are wide and forgiving, some demand good shape off the tee both with fade and draw. The 180m par 3 3rd is probably one of the more challenging par 3's I've played. A 'swooping draw' for the right hander is required off the tee to avoid the imposing gum tree that stands 60m from the green. The greens and surrounds are maintained well and attract the local kangaroos for a morning graze. An enjoyable layout and worth a hit if you're heading west. Green fees are $15.
