Course is in very average condition. Greens okay however fairways are preferred lies for good reason. Need rain as greens won't hold and fairways are somewhat unforgiving. Cost a modest $20 however you'll want a cart during warmer weather. Welcome at what passes for the pro shop was friendly.

Pleasant country course with friendly locals and greens to challenge many higher rated courses. Quite forgiving, but with some longish holes such as the 502m par 5 4th, and the 400m par 4 9th uphill and into the prevailing wind. Also features some interesting holes with water hazards. Overall good value for an inexpensive outing, and not too crowded so easy to get around without delays.

I really can't complain about this course after playing there Sunday just gone. It is an easy course to play with bad shots not getting you into trouble. Fairways were good, greens were in excellent condition and bunkers were typical Rockhampton bunkers with heavy sand which even after the rain the night before were still very playable. Others players in the group considered it a bit of a goat track, but i have to dissagree. Though it had a few blemishes of course grass on the fairway overall condition was excellent. Greens were quick and true and a well struck shot stopped quick, with some spinning back after hitting a 5i in. If this course implemented more tall trees defining the fairways and another 6 holes it would be as good as any course around. It is a bit easy with stray shots still leading to a clear shot at the green.

Just played a round this sunday and i have to say that there has been a huge inprovment since i last played 2 years ago. They have spent a lot of money putting in cart paths and gardens making a realy teriffic course. I would say that this course is now equal to any golf course in central qld.

They have had a change of professional too, so you will now be greated with a freindly face and truly professional service. the pro shop has now been completly repainted and cleaned so you will feel like you are in a professional enviroment. they have a large range of products and so i am told the stockest for Titleist, Nike, Wilson and most other brands.

The Huge 10 bay driving range is fantastic and if your not up to playing yet have a go at it. They also have a huge grassed area for all of you who dont like hitting off astroturff.

they have a huge hitting green now about 75mts out so you have a realistic target to practise to.

in all honesty i love this course and beleive that those of you who have not played it you are missing out of what i see as the best value for money course i have ever played.

The first is a tee shot over a creek, so I thought the course would be nice to play. Average but nice to play.

Don't miss the fairways, otherwise you might as well take a jackhammer as the ground was as hard as rock to hit from.

The greens are average, flat and slow.

But all in all not bad for a sunday walk.
