This is an average layout fourteen hole country course. The use of holes 1-4 as holes 15-18 is done well with different tees, not just for length but also for direction. This is done for both Men and Women, probably more for Women than Men (unusually), so a good recognition that women are important for the golf club. It is a Par 72 with rating of 69 for Men and par 73 and rating 70 for Women. It is fairly open so you can let rip on most holes. The fairways were dryish, although they were watering them while we played. We got no bad lies on the fairway so no complaints there. Once you get off the fairways it quickly becomes very dry and dusty. The greens were well grassed and, although they looked rough they were actually very good to putt on and a lot quicker than they look. It is an easy course to walk. We played on a Wednesday (ladies comp day) but there was only a couple of groups of ladies so there was no problem playing. We got around in just over three hours without any problems. The green fees of $20 for 18 holes are good value for money.

Biloela Golf Club is my home course & I can recommend it to anyone who likes a enjoyable round or two without delays. It's current condition is probably the best it has been for many years now that we have had some decent consistent rain. It the opportunity arises I would welcome back "The Relic" & Lyndell66 to our course again as their reviews are far from what they stated sometime back. Fairways are well grassed, greens just recentlt renovated & now back in superb condition & water in the water hazards. Still run in the dry areas off fairway but trees are growing so it is better not to go there.

Played 14 holes yesterday with my husband in a motorized cart. Agree with The Relic that there is no great challenge in the course - flat fairways, mostly straight, no bunkers or water hazards (except for the mud on the 10th). However the good run on the fairways and terrific true greens made for great scoring. An enjoyable holiday round of golf in the company of some cute kangaroos.

Played comp about a month ago and was a little disappointed. Coming from the dry Qld bush I am used to hard courses but this was achingly hard on the feet. Did have new shoes though. Preferred lies necessary and need a hammer to get your tee in at times. No great challenge in the course , but heaps of run on the fairways. add ten/twenty metres to long shots. Chip and run a lot. Good company over a beer though. The Relic.
