We play this course two or three times a month. The layout is interesting but the maintenance has been steadily declining for the past 12 to 18 months. Although money has been spent on cart paths and re turfing the par 3 16th the course in general is not maintained to a satisfactory standard for the price charged to play. Greens have weeds, and the bunkers have as much grass as sand. In the Christmas/ New Year period the rough had not been mowed for at least a week, but they still charged full price green fees.  If your near the cart path on the 4th the grass has grown 35cm over the concrete, so take a drop or you'll break your wrist.  If your held up on the front 9, it will be worse on the back 9 as groups push in on the 10th and no body stops them since they sacked the Marshall .  That's my rant, I only keep playing there because it is halfway between me and my playing mates.

Great course in very good condition. Staff were friendly and overall would come back again and play.Only downside would have to be the "hundred acre" bar and restaurant. After finishing our round it would be good to have somewhere with a decent feed at reasonable prices. That place was definitely not it. Rather than spending our money on over priced food, that isn't made on site, and had a boring menu (it was breakfast time at 10:30am, we went elsewhere.

Lipped out on hole # 3.Nearly my first ace on a par 4, will never forget it. Easy but super fun course. Fun approaches to the greens, you'll get a bit of razz but tricky puts

Played last month and again this month - early mornings. Nice course, with navigable hazards and fairly wide fairways. Greens are currently excellent. Running true without being too fast.  Not excessively long, I'm not a big hitter and able to reach greens in regulation (in those rare instances where my strikes are solid). So as a high handicapper this is a fun course to play.

Played St Lucia on Saturday for the first time. Loved it. Great condition, centrally located. Well stocked Pro Shop. Ample parking. Greens were beautiful. It's not the cheapest place to play golf, but for a course this well maintained, you'd expect to pay a lot more.

There are a few of us play regularly at St Lucia after joining igolf qld earlier this year - which has been an excellent initiative . I have found the course to be superbly maintained all year , even in the current very dry weather ,with greens that are true . It may not be the longest course , however there are good challenging holes , and can be easily walked . The staff are great and never a problem with bookings . I enjoy my golf at St Lucia .
