Time for an measures 5922m Par 71 with four par 3s ranging from 118-171m, eleven par 4s ranging from 295-429m and three par 5s ranging from 467-487m. Out of the 14 longer holes 8 are straight as an arrow with 4 slight dogleg rights and 2 slight dogleg left holes. Although the 10-year drought of below average rainfall broke in 2010 the course has dry, thinly covered kikuyu fairways and teebeds with red dirt and clumps of weeds under the treeline and just off the fairways, with SR 1020 bent grass greens which roll consistent but a little slow. All 18 greens are bunkerless except the 171m 3rd with one bunker 10m short left. Greens are fairly small but typical of any country courses in that if you miss the green, you can still save par if you get up and down from off the green as there is little hazards. Fairways are fairly wide, and if you miss the fairways it gets pretty rough... Highlights include the: 348m 2nd (index 5) doglegs 40 degrees right from 200m off the tee with a dry water hazard 40-50m short across the fairway of the bunkerless green and the 467m 17th (index 11) doglegs 60 degrees left from 240m off the tee around back of the 2nd green with OOB on the far right and the same water hazard snaking 70-100m short across the fairway with the water hazard an overflow creek of the large dam 30m right of the bunkerless green. The 429m straight 10th (index 1) is long but features a wide fairway. Played here 14/6/2011 with $15 green fees to play 18 holes. Located on the southern edge of town on way to Junee and Wagga for a town of around 4000 people at an elevation of 300m above sea level the course is not bad for the less frequent golfer. Easy for the serious golfers with no real challenges.

Temora is the best golf course. It is a championship worthy course. The reining junior champion is the greatest golfer his swing is so pure and technically sound. Temora is the home to this up coming star. Ben Dehlsen is the worst golfer ever. Mitchell beats him every time. But back to the course, the fairways are very tight and the course has loads of bunkers. It is on top quailty and well worth the visit.

PS Mitchell is the best
