Quiet country course, the synthetic greens are a little tricky at first, but offer a consistent pace (quick) with no need to be raking before and after a putt as for sand scrapes. Fairways well grassed, and the local comp utilises preferred lies. Nice undulating layout, friendly locals on comp day, cheap green fees $10

There are 9 synthetic greens approximately 10m wide by 5m deep with an additional 1.5m wide longer synthetic mat grass perimeter around the edge of the 'green'. It looks new and much like the cricket pitches I grew up playing before I played on turf wickets! First time I've seen this surface used as a golf green! As for the golf, Jindera offers basic golf facilities with a medium-sized tree-lined layout with no bunkers. The course has one water storage pond near the 1st green and 8th tee where Four Mile Creek bissects the course. Fees are $10 Most holes have a slight dogleg like the 453m Par 5 1st which gently doglegs to the left with the 4th coming back to the clubhouse car park. The 5th is slightly downhill with an uphill 9th finishing hole with the clubhouse behind the synthetic green. Jindera has around 1000 people at approximately 240m above sea level. Course is accessed 3km north-east of the town on Drummond Road. Jindera is only 19km northwest of the Albury CBD for those who prefer grass greens.
