Way better condition and design from the old Strathfield

Played Strathfield for the first time yesterday. The new greens (once they grow in) and renovated bunkers appear to have enhanced the course. Some of the holes are a bit squashed in and it's the holes with more space that were the most enjoyable to play. The par-3s were among the highlights. I also enjoyed the dogleg left par-4 7th & dogleg right 17th holes, which both have new bunkers & greens. One thing which could be changed was the strip of long rough surrounding many of the new bunkers which seemed unnecessary and only serves to stop balls running into bunkers and was so long that you could actually lose balls in it.

Good condition overall but fairly flat and could do with more variety

A nice course, but nothing too spectacular. Very lush faorways and well presented, but there is not much variety fro, hole to hole and playing there week in week out might make things a bit dull.

Not great value for golfers here - slow greens - poor fairways - straight up and down holes - and expensive fees. I did not enjoy this at all and will not be going back. Lost 1/2 a start cause its $20 over priced @ $45
