Tough but rewarding, good strategic challenge on all holes tests all levels of golfing ability. Upgrades to the 11th and 8th wonderful as it opens these fairways up. A picturesque course with some great water hazards. Highly recommended!

Played here for the first time on Sunday and absolutely loved it. One of my favourite Sydney courses now. Beautiful course in fantastic condition. The greens were top class to putt on. Can’t think of a single hole that was boring and plenty of holes are just stunning. It’s a very tough course though with plenty of tee shots requiring you to work the ball to get into the best position to approach the difficult greens and water is definitely in play on at least half the holes. Can’t wait to play it again. Highly recommended.

Played ryde parramatta today 7-1-2013...I loved the course,it was in superb condition, fairways were the best i have played on, greens are super fast. The course is a great challenge, bunkers and water are not just for show they are in play throughout the course. The par 3 168m 17th has to be one of the best par 3 around. The course has a great atmosphere about it, with wide tree lined fairways... The only negative i have is the bunkers need a little more sand..Great course

Measures 6040m Par 71 with four par 3s ranging from 141-168m, eleven par 4s ranging from 302-391m and three par 5s ranging from 452-542m. Course is well maintained with water coming into play on at least 9 holes. Lush, slightly undulating kikuyu fairways, with flat lush couch teebeds but patchy greens which mostly play slow surprisingly slow. The course has 67 strategically placed bunkers on the course where there was good sand coverage. Highlights include, the 368m tree-lined 1st (rated index 5) which is quite narrow with a fairway bunker 150m from green on the right and a small water gully across the fairway near the green which is guarded by 4 bunkers and water right of the greenside bunkers, 302m 3rd (index 15) requires a narrow iron shot to a fairway which slopes left to the creek to a green guarded by 4 bunkers, 380m slight dogleg left 6th (index 1) has a wide fairway with 2 bunkers on the right with water far left and a large undulating green guarded by 2 bunkers, 391m slight dogleg left 9th (index 3) with a narrow tree-tined fairway with bunker on right about 230m from the tee and a green guarded by a large right-side bunker with the motel overlooking the green. I agree with others that 538m 11th (index 4) and the 542m 18th (index 6) are 3-shot par 5s, simply for its length but also both have large greens guarded by deep bunkers - these par 5s are generally challenging. Holes 12-15 are an easy stretch of holes but requires accurate long irons off the tee. The signature 168m 17th (index 2) with all water carry with bunkers left and back right with a bail out option way short right is a good test. Played here 31/12/2010 and paid $60 competition fees. Course has tall tree-lined holes in an north-south direction. Smallish clubhouse. Well-maintained course.

Quite a good course with a lot of water. It carves its way through big gums and creeks, and the water presents quite the challenge. Still, the water features make the course more showy than it really is. The bunkers are terrible, they were like hitting of sandstone. The greens were good however. Proshop was ok, a little understoked. Overall 7/10
