Despite the people saying the lack of space and the shortness of many holes, northbridge is a great course that offers up something different every time. Like many have said it rewards consistent and conservative play and you can easily have your best and worse rounds here. The fairways are all right but do the job while the greens are lush but can make your ball 'snake' on holes such as 14. The opening few holes (1,2,3,4) are all relatively new and are challenging but fun at the same time with water and out of bands big factors. The 5th is the famous cliff hole that places a premium on accuracy, playing the back tees on a stroke round is a daunting shot!. The next few holes are less interesting and go up and down a bit but nevertheless you should try and par train 7,8,9 as they are easy par 4's. 10 is one of the harder ones on the course with a dog leg right, all you have to do is hit a punch iron in and try to use the slopes to get it in the hole. The 11th is the hardest hole on the course and is a 230m massively downhill par 3 (from the tips), bogey here is solid. 12 and 13 are relatively simple holes with both placing a premium on accuracy. 14 is a dog leg right hole with slicers look at trees for any shot right and a hard par. 15, 16, 17 while most consider boring and repetitive are quite fun because par is an easy score to get. 18 is a hard par four with OB all on the right for slicers. Overall great course which can tear you apart. Greens and fairways are OK and a bit patchy in places, but for the prices it costs... WHO CARES!

Played Northbridge this weekend. Definitely some cool holes, like the spectacular downhill par 3 5th but the property lends itself to 12 or 14 well designed holes rather than 18 crammed into a tight space with a par of 64. Not sure which parcel of land could be sold to upgrade holes on the remaining land, but it’s worth at least considering downsizing. Also the pace of play was extremely slow but which detracts from the overall experience. Reasonable enough for $40 though

Turned up for a late hit during the Xmas holidays. $23 reasonable and course in good nick, greens especially, despite a lot of work going on, very enjoyable except for one thing.

Why are so many people who work in golf shops so rude? We arrived to find the place locked up with a "back in 10 minutes sign" . The bloke then arrived, opened the door without a word, sat down again without a word and barely said anything except $23 each. He then said we could start when we liked.

By the time we got to the first tee, it was chaos with groups waiting on every tee in front of us. After waiting on every shot for nine holes, we were amazed to see that the back nine was completely empty. If he'd had the courtesy to tell us, we could have whizzed round the back nine in half the time rather than waiting for people on every shot.

The club seemed like a good place, course was in good nick and they're trying to attract members. Shame about the welcome we got.

A tight layout that hugs bush around Middle Harbour. Due to the limited space, there are many par 3s, but several are upwards of 180m including the 11th which is 230m from the back tee. Heavy rain in late autumn and winter can result in the course taking a while to dry out. A challenging course with fairly narrow fairways, there is still a risk/reward equation with some of the par 4s being reachable from the tee, but the narrow fairways mean you will pay if you're off-line. From the 5th green you gradually wind your back up from the water's edge. Whilst it certainly is hilly, the effect is more pronounced as most of the hills come at the back end of the round, with the climb up to the 18th green getting the heart rate up. Get a cart if you don't like hills. Greens are surprisingly good, better than some "name" courses around the place. All in all a great little course close to the CBD, and we found the members and staff in the clubhouse very friendly and welcoming of social players.

Mum always said if you don't have anything nice to say.. say nothing at all. But.... having wondered for ages what it was like, I decided to have a go on a sunny day during a sustained dry spell. Course was damp and slushy. Crazy hilly. Few driving holes. Par 3 city. Signature par 3 hole a bit of a joke. Overall, a well below average public course, but above public average greens quality

Great course and views of the City. A great course for the short game with a few long Par 3s. Would recommend it to anyone.
