some of the best greens i have ever played while still being receptiable to spin. Very Fast and hard with many subtle breaks. Very nice layout with many interesting holes on offer. Course is maintained to a very high standard. Pro Shop staff helpful. Layout requires accurate driving with tight iron shots. Fairways of of an extremely high standard. Course has a excellent full service driving range and good short game facilities. All in all an excellent course to play with many great holes and keep up to a great standard

Played here in the race to Bonville Series on 20/2/14 WOW is what I have to say .By Far the best Prep fairways I have ever hit off . The course is immaculate . I found it to be hard but fair rewarding the good shots made . Greens where tricky but roll great and green surronds where fantastic not a hair out of place anywhere. I would love to go back !!

Played in the Monash open day yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. They currently have the par 3 3rd out of play (replaced by the par 3 'spare' hole) as well as a temporary green on the 8th bringing it down to a par 3. The fee was only $60 which include a sandwich and drink from the half-way house, so it was great value for money. Greens were very fast but true and fairways were in fantastic condition. Even the temporary green on the 8th was fast and looked very similar to the normal greens. There is a very interesting mix of holes and the rough between fairways is fairly light so managed to play the entire round with the same ball. My only complaint was that the bunkers need some attention as there was a only thin layer of sand on a firm base. Highlight for me was birdying the 192m par 3 14 after putting my hybrid to about a foot. Ended up with 38 points playing off 20.

Overrated and to expensive for what it is, the layout it boring, the fairways are very nice tho, the supposed lightning greens didnt exsist, I found them two paced and slow, although they were true and rolled smooth. Cromer is such a better course than this around this area.

This course has everything you want in a wonderful golf course. Extremely well maintained and IMO, the best greens in Australia. More importantly, it requires so much strategy. This is the main ingredient in having fun on the course. You cannot hit middle of the fairways here and have a good round. You must hit to one side and then, approaching some greens, you must land short or on the other side of the green to feed your ball to the hole. If you have the opportunity, get on here and you will enjoy the experience. I played here today, I'm a member of a Group 1 Club elsewhere and have no hesitation in recommending Monash CC to anyone.

Measures 6090m Par 72 with four par 3s ranging from 132-194m, ten par 4s ranging from 267-386m and four par 5s ranging from 486-519m. Course is very well maintained with lush kikuyu grass fairways, medium to tall tree-lined fairway layout with smooth quick greens and flat teebeds. Layout is a little hilly...especially on the back nine. The course has over 45 well-positioned bunkers. The opening 519m 1st (index 12) and 500m 10th (index 11) are both par 5s of similiar length with a slight dogleg right from an elevated tee. Highlights include: 365m dogleg right uphill 4th (index 2) if you go too far straight off the tee you could see your ball over the fence and in OOB Garigal National Park to a green guarded by a deep bunker short right - the pro there tells me they will change this as too many members go over the fence without knowing they are OOB until they walk up to the fenceline to search for their ball thinking it is in play. The 162m slightly downhill 5th (index 10) is very picturesque from the tee with the land/ocean interface in the distance behind the green guarded by 4 bunkers. The 386m 11th (index 1) plays straight with a left-to-right sloping fairway lined by tall trees to a green guarded by 3 bunkers. The short dogleg left 315m 13th (index 13) is a testing hole with a blind teeshot to a fairway sloping sharply to the green with thick vegetation left - longer hitters have a crack here at the green guarded by 4 bunkers. The slightly uphill 194m 14th over the dam is a tester with 2 bunkers short right to a green sloping to the front. The 374m 16th (index 3) plays slightly uphill with OOB Powder Works Road on the right to a long narrow green. To play well here you must be able to hit the ball on the higher side of the fairway as the fairways here slope quite moderately away from the centre. Played here in the open day on 27/1/2011 with $75 competition fees. Course is ok and in great condition but not overly exciting that I'd rush back here to play. The closing 2 holes are a little short and disappointing to finish on. Clubhouse sits on top of the hill and has great views to the ocean.
