Marrickville Golf Club
18 Holes
PAR 60
3739 M

Although it is a shade less than 4000 metres long it is a demanding course which requires accurate tee shots and is great for developing the golfers short game. The nature of the course is ideal for all golfers regardless of age and ability.

As a public golf course it caters for all social players on most days of the week and there is special attention given to social clubs who find it very suitable for their players with its central location.

The clubhouse is ideal for private functions with ample room for parking and is an area, which lends itself to a pleasant ambiance.

Although not the most glamorous of set up's, a tough challenge for any golfer. The greens are smallish and on longish Par 3's are tough to hold, but a good mix of different holes. Definitely a course for a social hit, and not much more.

Played there today with a friend. Greens: In great shape, though being cored tomorrow I hear Fairways: In great shape too, well maintained, they reckon the best the course has been for a few years. Staff: Friendly and no snootiness Overall I really like this course, very scenic for a small local course and a bit of challenge with water etc but overall not too hard really, though a bunch of the holes are par 3's and pretty challenging to par, and even moreso to birdie Only a few chances to bring out the big driver though is my only real gripe, but twice as good as Bexley which is often compared and which I played on friday Par 60 course, I hit 96, 85 and 76 in order of outing, as my game's improved a lot of late thanks to OCD-G Had a chance to birdie 3-4 hols today and buggered up all the ensuing putts, which is typical Will definitely play again and absolutely love the 9th hole (hitting down into a ravine type setup)

It's not a long course but it has enough variation to make it interesting. Blind tees, elevated tees, tees over water and a couple of +215m par 3s make it worth a go. The members seem to be proud of their club and I can see why. It's right nearby me so I'll be going back. And it's fairly cheap.

My Local Course and it's in the best condition that i've seen it in years. Greens are slick and a pleaure to putt on. Pro Staff were extremely polite and accomadating. A must play course given it's location and green fee's ..

I really enjoy this course. Its not an A grade course, but it is challenging. Living locally I can say with some authority that it is in the best condition that I've ever seen it. Greens have been cored 2 weeks ago, so spring and summer should be great here. Get in there
