I've played this course many times over the years and I can honestly say Ive seen a massive improvement particularly in the last few months. Its a fair price for a challenging course (I'm a B grade golfer). I recently paid $299 for a 12 month membership also. You do however need a cart for this course theres no way I'd walk it

For so long this course has been so badly maintained. There was more sand dumped in the carpark than in the actual bunkers The greens are covered in unrepaired divots and have been this way for a number of years. If you can get on this course for $25 or less, take it because it is not worth any more.

Wow, this course was in bad shape when I played a couple of weeks ago. They said the terrible greens that were cracked with huge dead patches were a result of a broken pump and they were without water. I wonder what the excuse is for a bunker having stagnant water in it for so long there was a thick layer of algae in it?

I saw a total of 6 players on the course in glorious weather. I'd never played there before and won't be going back. Disgraceful.

I have been playing Macarthur Grange for the past 3 years and am constantly impressed by the way the course is progressing. I have since joined Macarthur Grange and find the staff and other members to be fantastic people. I am a B grade golfer and find our course alot more challenging than others in the area and find myself playing much better and i believe i owe this to Macarthur Grange. I also went through the dollor spot stages of the course but from what i see and have been told by greens staff with constant upkeep all diseases and other problems are kept in check. I have been told that this is the time of year for dry spot and dollar spot but am yet to see it this year at Macarthur Grange so well done to the greens staff. All on all i would recommend Macarthur Grange to anyone that enjoys a challenge.

Played here over last couple of months on many deals. The staff are friendly enough with exception of the so called head green keeper. He should get out of the shop and fix the course, fairways are in good condition some of the bunkers are good also. The greens are a joke they have dollar spot in them and its a lottery to which way ball will bounce. If he fixed the greens would love to go back but from what I have seen its a long shot. The excuse that the same person has used below shouldn't cut it anymore its been long enough to get it right. Must be staff member.

I played here a couple of weeks ago through a scoopon deal. I read bad reviews about this course, but at the price being offered, It didn't hurt to give this course a go. The course didn't look as bad as some of the comments here. They started taking care of the greens but the fairways were a bit hard. However, the greenskeeper was using the aerator equipment to improve fairway. Maybe when I go back there next year it will be much better.. Very hilly terrain. Don't try to retrieve your golf balls if you hit them into the high grass. There are signs saying to watch out for snakes (brown snakes) and we saw one on the fairway. Use a cart when you play here.
