A realy nice course
You will always have a enjoyable day some hard holes some easy holes
Course in good condition
Good value for money
Good pro shop
Played in the comp on 16th April and found the course to be back
to its best. Greens could have been a bit faster, got good lies
in the fairway and rough
Well worth a game there….now
A lowly, tree lined west Sydney course. Not overly long to par,
but still a challenge.
A few dams come into play, especially on the par 5's which
are quite good. The par 4's offer a variety in length from
the shot 285m 1st to the 392m 14th.
Many of the drives on the 4's & 5's are over hills,
so the drive zone is blind. This shouldn't cause too much
trouble for first timers as long as you are careful.
The course is always in reasonable condition & is quite well
bunkered, placing a premium on accuracy on you approach shots.
Very nice cours but tough greens worth the round.
Played here for the first time and really enjoyed the course. The
layout was interesting with good variation - had a nice amount of
fairway and greenside bunkers with some holes also with water
coming into play. Really good par 3's that were quite long
with one measuring over 190m.
Wasn't a hard course and one should be able to shoot their
handicap without too much problem.
Course was in a reasonable condition although the summer drought
has taken its toll on the fairways with some bare and dried out
Would give it another go sometime.
Not as long as the other private courses around but at 5976m Par
72 from the blue plates it is not too bad of a course. Condition
of its fairways was far below par for a well-established course,
with many dirt patches received on fairway lies. But the greens
and teebeds were superb with beautiful speed on the greens at the
Longest holes are quite boring with 5 par 5s all similiar length
that asks the same questions - longest is 511m 4th. The 5 par 3s
were all different, but the ones on the back nine were much
easier than front nines.
My favourite holes were 191m 3rd over a large gully to an
elevated green. Also 173m 5th with water on right is a nervous
shot to a well-bunkered green. The course has a very quaint feel
to it, with not many holes in view other than your own. The
clubhouse is not too overdone, and its practice facilities are
Played here 10/1/07 and paid $37 green fees weekdays or $40 on
weekends. For 9 holes its $24. Open comps are on Wed and Sundays.
May only play again if in a comp.
