One of the best sand green courses I have played, it is a long course and very challenging and picturesque course.

Measures 5766m Par 70 with 18 black soil greens and dry fairways. Course is quite hilly and plays longer than the scorecard reads. Unlike the 310m straight and flat 1st, holes play uphill while others play downhill, there are sloping fairways but no bunkers. Fees are $10 The golf course is higher than the town itself as it is approximately 510-560m above sea level on the northern edge of town. Coolah has about 800 people approximately 500m above sea level and about 45km north-east of Dunedoo, 80km west of Merriwa and 140km west of Scone. The course is located on Goddard Street.

A challenging 18 hole course. Coolah being a very small town approx 1000 people. To have 18 holes is a blessing. Generous fairways, dog legs, up hill holes, and a very picturesque course makes it a must. Coolah holds the Holden Scramble annually, and other events.Very involved community, and a very friendly club. green fees are $80.00 per annum, or $5.00 a game. Its a must for every golfer..
