Bulahdelah is a great country course.  Greens are in excellent condition.  A few bunkers well placed to add to the challenge.  Course is quite open so you can get the driver out.

Alternate tee boxes for the second nine changes things up a little.

If you are passing by and have the time drop by and have a hit.  It never seems crowded and at the moment $10 green fees monday to friday you cant beat this for value for money.

Bulahdelah's 9 hole golf course is set beside the Pacific Highway and surrounded by peaceful bushlands. The course is reasonably flat and most fairways are lined by tall gums and pines. Most fairways are quite wide and there is no harm in pulling out driver on most holes. The real standout hole is 180m par 3 8th (index 1). The tee is set back amongst the bush and the view towards the green is severely narrowed by a tall tree on the right and one short and left of the green. There is virtually no room for any shape off the tee and anything missed to the right will likely end up out of bounds. This is arguably one of the toughest par 3's you'll play on a public course and a real score wrecker! Bulahdelah is a true country course and with a friendly atmosphere, a few birdie opportunities and cheap green fees makes for a great golfing day out.

This course has had major upgrades over recent times. Greens are now couch (bermuda) and fairly good, fairway watering added and all bunkers with sleeper faces to prevent major sand shifting. The course in still coming to terms with added water (there are still bare patches where fairway watering was installed)but usually is in in good condition for a small country course. Very much worth a hit if passing by. A little bit rough around greens where new work has been done. $15 9 holes, $19 18 holes. Two tees on most holes and good variety of shots required.

The course is in good condition for being a truly local course. The grass is a bit long but no dry spots. The green is mostly a bit slow and relatively flat.

The 4th is a left dogleg with slanting toward the right. If you hit a good draw ball, you will be rewarded.

The 5th is a beautiful undulating par 5 with a creek running thru the middle of the fairway.

My favourite was the 8th where you are required to hit a long distance but trees on both sides only give you narrow daylight.

Started off early and there was no one at the clubhouse but no problems with paying after finishing.
