From the clubhouse, the 18 hole par-71 course lies in two loops of nine on separate sides of a small valley, covering 63 hectares which features meandering creeks, with an additional 20 hectares of wetlands on the low point of the course.
Enjoy the layout that stretches to 6,107 metres from the back markers across a fairly undulating landscape, which was formerly prime grazing land wedged between the sea and the Illawarra escarpment.
At the end of your game, enjoy the $3 million clubhouse that has been designed with a large boat shaped atrium and offers expansive viewing platforms over the course. There will be a hive of activity below the clubhouse verandah with three greens and three tees just a chip away.
Although Shellharbour Links is not a links in the true sense of the word, the course is subjected to plenty of winds as the ocean is just a drive and pitch from the eastern boundary. This is a tough course and will play completely different each time there is a wind change of any significance.
The rolling, mound-dotted golf landscape at Shellharbour Links is unlike anything you will find on the NSW south coast. Shellharbour Links is situated in Shellharbour City just 1 hours drive south of Sydney which makes this course ideal for a "Short Getaway".
