Played front 9 holes plus 11th on 22/3/18.

A basic design but enjoyable. Nice vistas.

The course needed a bit more tlc and bunkering was a bit rough but still better than a lot of members courses in Sydney..

Favourite hole was 9th - strong 380 m uphill tee shot and down hi approach with water in play on the right.

Worth a game for a tune up at Federal or Yowani.”

We happen to pick the weekend after the greens were cored, but that's golf! Cheap to play and easy to get on, the course was in pretty good condition at the end of winter. The layout had us confused between the 2nd and the 5th? I think. A really good spot for a social game.

You need to remember that this is a public golf course. You pay $20odd for a round of golf. You cannot be expecting a championship quality course. Some of the greens are horrible, and the tee boxes don't get the work that they need. But the course itself is a good day out for a round of golf and will still provide a challenge to most golfers.

Without a doubt the worst golf course I have played. With the exception of the first which, while not challenging, gave a false sense about the condition of the course generally, most tees, fairways, greens and bunkers were in awful condition. Admittedly, Canberra was in a dry spell, but that didn't account for the poorly kept state of the course. I also found the layout to be illogical with no obvious direction to the next tee from many greens. And to top it off, the day I played there, the gas to the beer lines had failed, so no cleansing ale at the 19th! Overall, a waste of a day...

The course is an absolute disgrace. There is no common golf courtesy. If you are playing golf for the first time, I would recommend going to RMC or pitch and putt. For the semi serious golfers this is an absolute "stay away" course! Greens are in terrible condition, fairways have preferred lies, the grass is in terrible condition. There is no grass on the tees and the bunkers have no sand in them. Overall I would rate the experience about a 2/10. Good luck if youre brave enough to pay the fees.
